Ruul was a moon of Sriluur which belonged to the Bulq family. A lush world of tropical gardens, it was the birthworld of Sora Bulq and the site of the Bulq estate.
History[]
Bulq invited several dissident Jedi to the moon in 22 BBY, ostensibly to discuss their opposition to Jedi involvement in the Clone Wars. The truth was that Bulq had fallen to the dark side and now served Count Dooku. The meeting was a trap designed to set the dissidents against the Jedi Order, but Mace Windu exposed his manipulations and the plot failed.
Behind the scenes[]
- "I am Major Brenn Tantor. Perhaps you have heard of my recent success against the Rebellion on Sriluur's moon, Ruul?"
- ―Major Tantor
The Imperial assault on Ruul was mentioned by Brenn Tantor in the video game Star Wars Galaxies. However, the game confused the planet Ruul with Sriluur's moon of Ruul.[1]
