Ruusanian bats were a species of flying creatures indigenous to the planet Ruusan. During the New Sith Wars, the young Force-sensitive Human known as Hardin once used the Force to persuade some of them to attack Githany, a Sith Lord and member of the Brotherhood of Darkness.
Biology and appearance
Edit
The Ruusanian bats were a species of flying, non-sentient creatures hailing from the Mid Rim planet Ruusan. Their bodies were covered with dark, greyish fur. They had four limbs—the hind limbs served as feet, while the forelimbs served as wings, with thin layers of skin stretched over the creatures' fingers. This skin membrane connected to both the bat's ankle an tail. When not flying, a Ruusanian bat kept its wings folded against its body.[1]
Bats also had one claw sticking out of the top of each wing, three horns and a set of extremely sharp teeth. Their eyes were small, whitish and poorly developed. Those flying creatures used to rest in an upside-down position, hanging on to rocky surfaces with their clawed feet.[1]
