Rydge was a Trandoshan who worked as a security guard for the band Distraction, along with his brothers Stydge and Xydge. When the band traveled to the ship Sleemo Poya Jeedai to perform at a concert, Rydge and his brothers accompanied them and met with some spacers who were providing additional security during the event. He and his brothers co-operated with them in investigating the threat posed to the event by Niklas Cories.
