Ryen was a Cathar male Jedi Master who was assigned with his Padawan Ashara Zavros to Taris in order to help the reconstruction project during the Cold War. He was defeated by a dark spirit, who was an ancestor of Ashara; unfortunately the Sith Lord Kallig subjugated the Force ghost and corrupted Ashara and later killed Ryen.
