Ryle Torsyn used the callsign Gold 3 during the Battle of Yavin. He was recruited by Garven Dreis.
Torsyn had found the hidden Imperial homing beacon in the Rebel base on Dantooine. He was shot down during the Battle of Yavin during the attack on the Death Star trench.
