S'ran Droot was a male Chagrian Chief Petty Officer in the Imperial Navy. While assigned to the Port Heavy Blaster Station of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Steel Talon prior to the Battle of Yavin, he shared quarters with Tenn Graneet. As a Chagrian, he was one of few non-Humans to achieve any rank in the Galactic Empire.
