The SD-8 was the eight model of the Balmorran Arms SD-series battle droids.

Like other late models in the series, the SD-8 employed enhanced targeting systems based on programming material stolen from the defunct Dark Trooper program.

HistoryEdit

It was the last prototype model built before the mass-production of the SD-9 battle droid began during the height of the Galactic Civil War.
