SK-Z38 was a Bird Droid found at the Star Tours travel agency. Its purpose was scavenging parts. Two of them were owned by Star Tours droid G2-4T a few months after Endor. They usually were located on the droid lifts and other high places, so they could make their nests. They were also capable of laying eggs, something 4T was unaware of, although their chances of the eggs hatching were smaller than RX-24 making his first flight without problems.
Behind the scenes
Hasbro released SK-Z38 as an exclusive Star Tours action figure. In addition, it appeared in both the Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland versions of the ride, the latter supplying its full information on the Guess that Droid poster. The text was translated by the Star Tours fansite EndorExpress.net member Martin Thurn.
