The SSK-7 Heavy Blaster Pistol, manufactured by the SoroSuub Corporation, was designed in the early days of Palpatine's New Order. The Rebel Alliance managed to acquire large quantities of these weapons just before Imperial edicts came about, making the purchase of such weapons illegal.
