StarWarsExpanded - SWX.it for short - is an Italian website concerning Star Wars and its related universe. It hosts the most complete unofficial databank available in the Italian language.
Born in Spring 2005, the site currently bears many initiatives, including a durable partnership with Panini Comics that led to the print of some recent Star Wars graphic novels in translation. Since its foundation SWX is twin with the most popular Italian Star Wars portal, GuerreStellari.net.
The birth of SWX is rooted in KuroKo's mind. He, along with some of his friends, couldn't tolerate the fact that it was very difficult - if not impossible - to find a complete and reliable source about the Star Wars galaxy in Italian. After months of collection and design, KuroKo and the other founders - Achilleterzo and Eterea - were ready to open the doors right after the release of Star Wars: Episode III.

The DataBank gathers the sheets concerning subjects from the Star Wars universe. Following the current layout, files are divided into ten main sections: Planets; Characters; Locations; Weapons; Vehicles; Spaceships; Organizations; Space Stations; Astronomy; History; Extras.
Our references range from the Star Wars Official Databank and Bob Vitas' Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia to Wookieepedia and the official paper sources.

Run by the staff member Blackstar, this section is thought as a reasoned guide to the files involving the Galactic Empire and its political heirs such as the Imperial Remnant and the Fel Empire. It's a pathway to their history, government and military.
