Saarn was an isolated and hidden Outer Rim Territories planet with vast, green grasslands.

HistoryEdit

Saarn was used for military training by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It was later a remote surveillance outpost for the New Republic.^[2]

This planet was attacked at the beginning of the Thrawn campaign.^[3] The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Stormhawk executed a hit-and-fade attack on Saarn, wiping out New Republic personnel. Grand Admiral Thrawn's forces set up a listening post there to protect the movement of the Imperial Navy.^[2]
