The planet Sab Rufo was home to the Academy at Sab Rufo.^[1]

Obo Rin claimed to be Director of Sentientology at the Academy before the Galactic Empire commissioned him to write the Catalog of Intelligent Life in the Galaxy.^[1]

Imperial Intelligence Major Herrit's background check on Obo Rin uncovered no evidence that the Academy, or for that matter the planet, actually existed. However, Darth Vader's aide Captain Solistein claimed that Lord Vader had, in fact, visited Sab Rufo (though he did not say if Rin was associated with it or not.)^[1]

The Academy at Sab Rufo operated an oceanographic research base on the planet Trieron in the Veron system of the Mid Rim.^[2]
