Saber Squadron was a starfighter squadron founded by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker for the Eclipse Station in 27 ABY during the Yuuzhan Vong War. It consisted of Jedi and non-Jedi, and was the personal elite squadron of Luke Skywalker. The original roster included Luke, Mara Jade Skywalker, seven non-Jedi pilots, and six newly trained Jedi pilots, including Tam Azur-Jamin.
During the fall of Coruscant, Sabers lost so many pilots that Luke combined it with Shocker Squadron. Later survivors of both squadrons would become the infamous Twin Suns Squadron. It would again become its original unit at the Second Battle of Obroa-skai.
