Sagebrush was a type of grass native to Praesitlyn. It had a strong scent, and many were allergic to it.

During her tenure as administrator at the Intergalactic Communications Center on Praesitlyn, Reija Momen reflected humorously that, despite its allergenic properties, sagebrush and other native grasses could engender good health in those exposed to it for protracted periods of time.^[1]
