Sal'kaasa was very far from Ryloth's main urban zones like Kala'uun. It was on the fringes of the Bright Lands. There was a small contingent of Rodians there.
Dindoo's mechanic shop and the business Dindoo Tours, managed by Dindoo's heir Kelko, were located on Sal'kaasa.
