The Salissians were a social group active in the galaxy during the Republic Era[1] that shared their name with Salissia, a location in the galaxy.[2] During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Salissian special forces were a group that Magistrate Passel Argente of the Corporate Alliance hired to fight for the Separatists' Corporate Alliance Policy Administration Directorate.[1]

In the current Star Wars canon, Salissians were mentioned in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Salissians were a social group of humans who first appeared in the 2004 novel MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, which was written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry.[3]
