Samuel Tomas Gillespee was head of a small but respected smuggling group. He was a friend of Talon Karrde, and joined his Smugglers' Alliance to fight against Grand Admiral Thrawn.

BiographyEdit

After the Battle of Endor, he had retired to Ukio, but was forced to flee when Grand Admiral Thrawn conquered the planet. His CR90 corvette, Kern's Pride, was pursued by a pair of Lancer-class frigates in the Chazwa system, but he managed to escape with the assistance of Talon Karrde and the Wild Karrde.

He later assisted Karrde in inviting other smugglers to meet Karrde at the Whistler's Whirlpool on Trogan. While there, they were attacked by a group of Imperials under the order of Niles Ferrier.
