Sand snake

Sand snakes were fur covered snakes that were native to Geonosis. Oddly, their eyes and mouth were in the center of their roughly three meters long body.
Boba Fett once encountered a sand snake on Geonosis which was being fought over by two massifs, but when Boba came along they dropped the sand snake for him. He then picked up a piece of mica, a rock as shiny as glass, and threw it at one of the massifs. The other massif jumped for Boba, missed, and fell off the cliff at the other side.
A couple of days later, Boba found a sand snake following him, probably the same one he saved.
