"The decision to use such powers for the betterment of all, and not for selfish purposes, distinguishes the Jedi from all others."
―Sar Agorn[src]

Sar Agorn was a Jedi Master of the early Galactic Republic. He was an amorphous, blob-like sentient whose form was constantly surrounded in green gases.[1] When his personal holocron was recovered, many assumed that his image was that of a degraded image, but scans showed that this was the original picture.

As a Jedi Consular with a vast knowledge of Jedi traditions and philosophy, including the history of the early Jedi on Tython,[2] Agorn's personality was preserved as a Gatekeeper for the Great Holocron,[2] as well as his own personal holocron.[1] Dating back 500 years before the First Great Schism, Agorn describes his student Cope Shykrill's actions as he is drawn to the dark side.
