[edit] Biography
Labooda's parents were killed by space pirates when she was very young, though she and her sister, Depa Billaba were spared[1]. She was then rescued by Mace Windu and brought to the Jedi Temple for training.
She stood with Senator Yudrish Sedran in their homeworld's stance in opposition to the Military Creation Act. Sar Labooda was also part of the rescue team that was sent to Geonosis. She fought valiantly in the ensuing battle, but in the end her Form VI lightsaber technique proved insufficient to ensure her survival. She died in the battle.
[edit] Powers and abilities
Sar Labooda was a practitioner of Niman and fought bravely in the battle of Geonosis but was shot down in the battle.
[edit] Behind the scenes
The character who eventually took the name was actually intended to be Depa Billaba, using a replacement actress when Dipika O'Neill Joti could not reprise the role. However, the "new" Depa looked dissimilar enough to warrant the creation of a new character.[source?] Due to this, one of the Jedi in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns present at the Battle of Geonosis is incorrectly identified as Depa Billaba. A similar incident happened with Agen Kolar and Stass Allie, originally intended to be Eeth Koth and Adi Gallia, respectively.
