Sargheet was a species of crop plant grown on the agriworld planet Dagro in the Mid Rim during the Clone Wars. Half a year before the Mission to Dagro, in which Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker fought Separatist occupying thwe planet, the market for Sargheet was greatly reduced. This financial difficulty for many farmers on Dagro including Kilran Swens and his family as 70% of their crop was Sargheet. Sargheet stubble, the part of the crop left after harvesting, was eaten by Zeles a species of animal used for transport by the Swens family.

Sargheet was created by author Timothy Zahn for his two part short story Changing Seasons in which it was mentioned in both parts of the story, Guardian of the People published in Star Wars Insider 76 and People of the Guardian published in Star Wars Insider 77.
