The Scarlet Vertha was a Ghtroc Industries Class 720 freighter owned by Nabrun Leids. It was custom made by the Morseerian and was said by other smugglers to have never been held by the Galactic Empire for inspection. The Scarlet Vertha was damaged by Jabba the Hutt after Leids never paid him for calling off all bounty hunters on Lieds.

The Scarlet Vertha's life support system provided a methane-only atmosphere. Leids's crew consisted of two Morseerians, a Gand, and a Chadra-Fan.
