Scythe Squadron

Scythe Squadron was an Imperial TIE/ln starfighter squadron that was stationed on the second Death Star. They saw action during the Battle of Endor.

Sometime prior to the Battle of Endor, the squadron was stationed in the Anoat system and some ships were provided with upgraded laser cannons to destroy asteroids in the system.
Scythe Squadron was also equipped with upgraded SFS P-w702 ion maneuvering jets to improve performance within the tight confines of the second Death Star. In addition, the squadron flew a number of training missions within the superstructure of the second Death Star to familiarize the pilots with the confined space of the battlestation.
Major Mianda flew Scythe 1, and Lieutenant Hebsly flew Scythe 3.
