Search, Locate, Annihilate Missions, or SLAMs, were a type of military operation used by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. The goal of a SLAM was typically the region-wide elimination of production assets. The First Sun Mobile Regiment, a group of mercenaries primarily working for the Galactic Empire, were specialists in SLAMs to the point that, even after the Battle of Endor, they would still be hired to do SLAMs by totalitarian governments.
