Seatroopers were Imperial stormtroopers in the Stormtrooper Corps that specialized in aquatic environments. They were equipped with various aquatic equipment including scuba backpacks, underwater propulsion jets, and flippers. Seatroopers saw action on the planet Mon Cala in 18 BBY. Other seatroopers were also stationed on the planet Lothal.

Like standard stormtroopers, they wore white armor.[1] They were also equipped with breathing tubes that were attached to a scuba backpack to their helmets and had underwater propulsion jets on their backs. They utilized flippers and were equipped with blaster rifles and used OMS Devilfish subs.[2]

In 18 BBY, seatroopers participated in the aftermath of the Battle of Dac City on Mon Cala after all surface cities were destroyed along with Imperial forces.[2] At one point a few years prior to the Battle of Yavin, seatroopers on Lothal stood by during an aquatic training exercise for Imperial cadets.[1]
