The Second Battle of Metellos took place during Operation Shadow Hand, as forces loyal to the reborn Emperor Palpatine spread out across the Core.

The battleEdit

The second attack on Metellos in 10 ABY was conducted by an armada led by then-Admiral Delvardus. The New Republic defensive fleet was routed and the surface of Metellos was subjected to intense orbital bombardment. The shelling cost the lives of more than five billion people.

AftermathEdit

Due to New Republic recovery efforts being focused on near-by Coruscant, the reconstruction of Metellos took much longer than expected.
