The Second Battle of Sullust was a battle fought during the Galactic Civil War.

[edit] The battle
The Alliance to Restore the Republic launched the attack in an effort to draw off the Imperial Starfleet from Endor. The Alliance sent Renegade Squadron under the command of Commander Col Serra to liberate Sullust.
The battle began quietly. After Renegade Squadron secured an outlook of the would be battle field, they were ambushed by Imperial forces and IG-88, who was equipped with a shield. IG-88 was drawing power from a lightning conduit, but it was quickly destroyed by Renegade Squadron. They then proceeded to fight off IG-88.
Renegade Squadron fought the Empire until Sullust was under Rebellion control.
[edit] Aftermath
Darth Vader was notified of the Rebel presence in the Sullust system and gave these reports to Emperor Palpatine, who paid little attention to them. Renegade Squadron realized they had been unsuccessful, soon heading to Endor to assist General Han Solo in battle.
