The Second Breath was a modified YT-1300 light freighter that was used by the Cularin-based company Renna's Transport Service.
In about 21 BBY, the Rodian Renna, the owner of the Transport Service, made the Second Breath available to the Heroes of Cularin, a group of freelance agents that she had hired to deliver a cargo of thermal detonators to the planet Druckenwell. The agents subsequently flew the vessel to Druckenwell from the Cularin system, and they landed the freighter in the landing pad docking bay 1138.
Behind the scenes
The Second Breath was created by Lee Pickler and Morrie Mullins, and it appeared in Outward Bound, a 2002 role-playing adventure that formed part of the Looking In trilogy of the Living Force campaign. During the adventure, the players—who role-play as the Heroes of Cularin—are offered the use of the Second Breath by Renna if they lack a starship of their own. If none of the player characters have any piloting abilities, then Renna also provides them with the astromech droid R2-W3, who flies the ship for them.
