Section 19 was an Imperial agency that produced classified starship designs for the Galactic Empire.

Some of their ship designs were believed to have included active cloaking devices. During the Black Fleet Crisis, the New Republic investigated a hyperspace comm device that could have been made by the Section during the heydays of the Empire.
