The S6-series security and maintenance droid was a common security observation droid used throughout the galaxy around the time of the Old Sith Wars. The small, spherical droid were seen in great numbers throughout the galaxy, though mostly unnoticed by the average sentients, making them excellent for surveillance and espionage.

Each droid had a long antennae and multiple mini-repulsorlifts. It could repair other droids or vehicles, even in the midst of combat, or it could act as a mobile security camera with its advanced sensory equipment.

The Leviathan had a complement of maintenance droids flying around near the bridge. Revan, Carth Onasi, and Bastila Shan came across many of these models during their desperate escape from the starship.
