Sedri was a water planet in the Sedri system. It was the homeworld of the Sedrians and the Golden Sun, a living coral used as a power source.

History
Edit
Sedri remained unnoticed by the galaxy at large for several centuries due to several facts: It was located in a void and the Golden Sun made the planet inaccessible by hyperdrive. The living coral had Force-manipulating abilities that made the planet's gravity signature appear like that of a giant star. Additionally, the coral emitted golden light that illuminated the entire planet-spanning ocans.
In 3 ABY, the Rebel Alliance was represented by Mors Odrion, a diplomat. He was unable to prevent a short civil war, with the Rebel-aligned High Priest being challenged by Karak, who believed the Golden Sun should belong to all Sedrians. At the same time, trade opened up with the wider galaxy. Shortly thereafter, several Sedrian settlements were threatened by the Kerestian mercenary Limna Yith as she attempted to elude the pursuit of competing agents of Black Sun, including Ket Maliss. She was eventually captured here by others and delivered to Mal Biron on Sriluur.
After the Battle of Sedri, the planet joined the New Republic, for which SedriMotors created Amphibions.
Native species included the gweld.
