- "We are not your Sith. We are something new, a chance to do something right. A new tribe."
- ―Seelah Korsin
Seelah Korsin was the Force-sensitive wife of Devore Korsin, making her the sister-in-law and later wife of Yaru Korsin, and the mother of Jariad Korsin and Nida Korsin.
Biography
Edit
Seelah once served the Sith Lord Ludo Kressh, tending to and grooming his feet. When Seelah failed to treat an injury that resulted in infection on her master's ankle, he started having her family executed, starting with her father. When she no longer had anything left to lose, Seelah abandoned Ludo Kressh for Devore Korsin, who was serving the more open-minded and ambitious Naga Sadow, the rival of her former Master.
In 5,000 BBY, she was one of the survivors of the Omen's crash-landing on the planet Kesh. Shortly after their arrival, however, her husband dueled and was killed by his half-brother, Yaru Korsin, who later took Seelah as his wife. In 4,985 BBY she discovered that the Red Sith Ravilan had orchestrated the poisoning of the water supply in several native Keshiri villages in order to make the Lost Tribe of Sith separate themselves from the natives. She used that as a tool in the Sith power games, which led to total elimination of all the Red Sith among the Omen survivors. Seelah also worked against her husband Yaru Korsin to repay him for the death of her first husband. She helped her son Jariad prepare to forcefully take the Kesh throne from Yaru and his conspirators. When Jaraiad and his men attacked Yaru in his temple, Seelah helped attack Yaru's head bodyguard Gloyd. Backed into a corner Gloyd set off a proton grenade that collapsed the room killing everyone except Seelah who escaped with her legs broken. Seelah was forced into seclusion in the mountain top temple by her daughter Nida, because of her part in the death of Nida's father, the Grand Lord Yaru Korsin.
