Sei Taria was the Senior Administrative Aide of the Office of the Supreme Chancellor during the administration of Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum.

Taria was known for her fondness of expensive clothing, especially ones made from septsilk. She was friendly with Senator Palpatine, who taught her the intricacies of Senate procedure that she used to guide Valorum through numerous government affairs. It is also possible that, after Palpatine became one of Valorum's advisors, Taria had a relationship with Kinman Doriana.
In 33 BBY, Valorum promised to bring all the members of the terrorist organization The Flail to justice. In response, The Flail threatened Valorum and assaulted Taria.[1]
Taria was very close to Valorum, to the point of speaking to others on his behalf. She and Valorum were often seen in public together, and it was rumored they were carrying out an affair, despite the fact that it was common at the time for male senators to be seen with their beautiful female aides in public. In any event, Taria resigned her position, retiring from public life shortly after Valorum was removed from office; it was rumored that her successor, Sly Moore, had blackmailed her, or used her mind-controlling abilities, to force Taria into retirement.
