Sel Maa was a female[1] Human[2] socialite[4] who lived on the planet Coruscant.[1] She was a gambling patron during the last decades of the Galactic Republic at the[1] popular[5] Outlander Club[1] in the Uscru Entertainment District[5] on Coruscant.[6] Maa spent a great deal of time with Daro Willits when at the club.[1] During a night[7] in 22 BBY,[8] she flirted with Willits in a private alcove of the Outlander Club[4] and conversed with fellow patron Reha Logg[2] just as two Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker entered, searching for the bounty hunter Zam Wesell.[6] While in the club, she wore silver-colored heels and a bodysuit.[4] She had blonde hair in curls[2] and her skin color comprised of various colors.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Sel Maa first appeared in George Lucas' 2002 flim Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[6] The Outlander Club scenes including Maa were shot at Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia on July 17, 2000.[9] The actress playing Sel Maa, in costume, introduced the twelfth episode of the Episode II behind-the-scenes video series on location.[10] Maa and other patrons of the Outlander Club were named by George Lucas and his film production company, Lucasflim, during the production of the movie.[11] Maa first received her name on May 12, 2003 with the Image Attack feature on Starwars.com.[4]
