Seline was a cold, harsh remote outpost planet with a Jedi starport. Its existence was known only to the Jedi.

It was one of the closest Galactic Republic worlds to the original location of Zonama Sekot in the Gardaji Rift, but was located "thousands of parsecs" closer to Coruscant than the Rift. It was the last resting place of the Sekotan ship Jabitha.

During the Yuuzhan Vong War, Seline was attacked by the extra-galactic invaders.
