Selu was the second of two YT-1300 transports owned and operated by the Azzameen family, more often than not by Aeron Azzameen.

Aeron accompanied Ace Azzameen in the Selu while he piloted the Sabra at Harlequin Station, and also repelled a Viraxo attack with Ace before picking up what they needed for the Otana.

During a family mission, Ace discovered contraband spice in a container located in one of the Azzameen Family's storage yards. This gave Antan Azzameen a plan. The Selu was renamed the "Venix" to sneak into Viraxo 54 and dump the cargo of spice, disguised as supplies. She got the spice in, but the Selu was disabled, and therefore had to be destroyed by the Sabra in order to cover up the Azzameen family's activities. Aeron later flew either the Sabra or the Otana.

Ace Azzameen was able to obtain the Selu's original nameplate, and hung it in his cabin in honor of the ship's service to his family.
