The Senate Subcommittee to Investigate Jedi Activity was a subcommittee set up within the Galactic Alliance Senate in 44 ABY.

After the New Jedi Order deposed Chief of State Natasi Daala, a provisional government was formed under the leadership of a Triumvirate comprising the acting Grand Master of the Jedi Order, Saba Sebatyne. After the Jedi left Coruscant following the return of Grand Master Luke Skywalker, the Triumvirate was dissolved.

In that year, the newly-arisen Lost Tribe of Sith from the planet Kesh began to infiltrate the Galactic Alliance government on the galactic capital planet Coruscant, placing high-level operatives in positions of power of the Galactic Alliance Senate. Sith High Lord Ivaar Workan infiltrated the Senate by posing as a Senator named "Kameron Suldar," and in that capacity he led the Senate Subcommittee to Investigate Jedi Activity.

The purpose of the subcommittee was officially to investigate suspected abuses of power committed by the Jedi during their time in power under the Triumvirate. However, the true object was to descredit the Jedi and prepare the Galactic Alliance for a full seizure of power by the Sith. Workan, as head of the subcommittee, ordered the arrest of the Jedi ambassador on Coruscant, Leia Organa Solo so as to remove her as a threat. The subcommittee's accusations combined with the descriminating news brought by the Sith's news outlet, BAMR News, led to a renewel of anti-Jediism on Coruscant.
