However, the mission was unsuccessful, though the Rebel diplomatic team was able to return to the base on Seven Flames with Karra's Imperial Governor Darryn Edalm in custody.

Description

Seven Flames was a planet[2] of the Seven Flames system, within the Rayter sector, situated in the Outer Rim region of the galaxy.[1]

History

During the Galactic Civil War, a large conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, a team of Rebel diplomats, including Doctor Elth Nardah and his assistant, Karvinna Raen, departed from a Rebel base on Seven Flames. The Rebels hoped to arrange an alliance with the native species of the planet Karra, primitive hive-minded sentients known as the Karrans. The Rebel mission was initially successful, until Karra's Imperial governor, Darryn Edalm, surrendered to the Rebels, who agreed to take him into custody. The Karrans, who wanted the Governor dead on sight, proceeded to attack both the Rebel team and Edalm, though the Rebels were able to repel them. Eventually, the Rebels made it off Karra with the former Governor, returning to the base on Seven Flames.[2]

After reaching the base, the diplomatic team was separated from the prisoner by Alliance Intelligence agents, who proceeded to interrogate the former Imperial, while the Rebel team was escorted to a comfortable room, where they spent the next week, resting and undergoing debriefing sessions conducted by a protocol droid. Ultimately, Edalm—who was not able to supply the Rebels with any useful information about the Empire—was transferred offworld to the planet Shimmer.[2]

Inhabitants

The Rebel Alliance's base on the planet was staffed by several Rebels, including agents of Alliance Intelligence, some personnel of the Alliance Diplomatic Corps, and at least one protocol droid.[2]

Locations

During the Galactic Civil War, the planet was home to a Rebel Alliance support base, which contained some rooms, including a comfortable suite and a debriefing room.[2]

Behind the scenes

Seven Flames was first featured in the 1994 roleplaying game adventure "Stranded," written by Chuck Truett and published within the Star Wars Adventure Journal 1.
