Shaela Nuur

Shaela Nuur was a Jedi Knight who lived during the time of the Great Hunt. She was apprenticed to Jedi Master Ood Bnar. She later fell to the dark side and was killed by a terentatek in Naga Sadow's tomb on Korriban.

The Neti Jedi Master Ood Bnar gave Nuur his Solari crystal, which she used to power her lightsaber.

Shaela was sent to Korriban with Duron Qel-Droma and Guun Han Saresh to finish the Great Hunt by slaying the terentatek believed to be native to the planet. During the hunt, she and Qel-Droma fell in love. Their companion, Saresh scolded them for such attachment and told them they would fall to the dark side. It caused many fights between the formerly tight group of friends until eventually Guun Han left them to travel and continue the hunt alone elsewhere.

Shaela and Duron continued the hunt on Korriban. When confronting a terentatek in the caves near the Valley of the Dark Lords, Duron was killed. In her grief and anger, Shaela turned to the dark side and tracked the wounded terentatek to the tomb of Naga Sadow.

As Shaela prepared to unleash her rage on the two terentatek she found in the tomb, the Solari crystal in her lightsaber, which could only be used by those following the path of the light, became useless to her, causing her lightsaber to shut down. While the blade of her lightsaber failed to ignite, she remembered how her Master had reminded her to always stay in the light. Consumed by anger, she fell to the terentateks.

39 years later, Revan, in his quest to find the Star Map, found her skeletal remains in the terentatek room of Naga Sadow's tomb. In it he recovered Shaela's datapad and her Solari crystal.
