Shaper Initiate (also called Savant), was the lowest rank of the Shaper caste. They would be taken and trained in Primary Shaping as crechelings and young adults, until they were taken on by a Master Shaper. Once their training was complete, they would be declared Shaper Adepts, though they would often continue working with their Masters.
