[edit] Biography

[edit] Early Life

Shasa was possibly the only daughter of Shaelas. Whether she was born in or out of wedlock in unknown as by the time of the Jedi Civil War there was no mention of her mother, if she was alive. [1]

[edit] Learning the ways of the Dark Side

Shasa, along with several other youths, were tricked into joining the Sith by an Iridorian mercenary who was hired by them to bring the most promising Selkath youth to them. She joined the Sith, despite her friends concerns that Shaelas would get involved because he knew that the Sith want all the Kolto to themselves by any means necessary, but she believed that he was blinded by his own believes. At their base on Manaan, the Sith had a Dark Jedi Master train them in the ways of the Dark side of the Force. This was part of thier plot to corrupt the youth of the Selkath so they could establish a puppet government to dominate and harvest the Kolto for themselves.[1]

When one of Shasa's friends, Galas, wanted to leave, Shasa was told that he was allowed to return home. In reality, the Sith brutally tortured Galas to death. [1]

[edit] Redemption by Revan

She later was rescued by Revan. The amnesiac former Sith Lord had com to Manaan seeking a Star Map. He met Shasa's father, who told him about the missing Selkath youth. He infiltrated the Sith base, with the help of Republic Ambassador, and leader of the Republic Embassy Roland Wann, and found Shasa and her friends there and upon learning why they were in the Embassy he tried to to tell them the truth about the Sith.[1]

Shasa had been too brainwashed by the Sith to believe anything ill of them: even when one of her fellow apprentices mentioned the destruction of Taris, she said this was a Republic lie. Revan then brought Shasa and her friends physical proof that the Sith were truly evil, and they all renounced the Sith. They all left the base to report the Sith's doings to Manaan's council.[1]

Shaelas would then be grateful to Revan for saving his daughter and attempted to offer Revan the reward he promised. But Revan would refuse, saying that a Jedi doesn't need credits. [1]

[edit] Legacy

Shasa's ultimate fate is unknown but it believed that she later founded the Order of Shasa.

[edit] Personality and traits

Shasa was extremely persistant in what the Sith told her, resulting in her refusing to believe anything of ill will towards them. She believed that the Sith were victims of Republic lies and half-truths. She even believed that the Destruction of Taris was a Republic lie.[1]

It was through her friends intervention that allowed Revan to show her the Sith's true intentions. When she learned the truth about the Sith, she was, at first, reluctant to believe it but the facts were clear. She then apologized to Revan for doubting him.[1]

[edit] Behind the Scenes

There are two ways to convince Shasa. The first and most straightforward is a datapad from the Dark Jedi Master's chambers. The second is through a token from Galas' corpse, however, Shasa will at first become reluctant, going as far to accuse the player of even killing Galas, but if the player has enough persuade skill, or has Bastila Shan in the party, who will help them see the truth, they will accept. [1]

Alternatively the player can kill Shasa and her friends, this can result in Dark Side points. [1]

For a Dark Sided player they can instead congratulate them and allow them to continue learning the ways of the Dark Side. This is another Dark Side option.[1]
