Shazeen was a large, old, battle-torn Swimmer. His hide was nearly black and was covered with scars. He was also missing his left eye. In order to initiate a right-of-way dispute with his nephew Kasarax, Shazeen agreed to ferry Han Solo's party across a Dellaltian lake for free. This dispute began as a race, however eventually escalated into a battle between Shazeen and the younger Kasarax. In the end, Shazeen came out victorious after biting the other Swimmer in the neck and forcing him into submission.
