Sith shield talismans were magical devices that protected wearers from all forms of energy based attacks, including Force-based assaults. These amulets were crafted in the form of necklaces, and worked by absorbing the energy directed at it and storing it as a power source. Shield talismans required an infusion of energy at least once a week.
