Shifting Gears was a short story by Jean Rabe slated to appear in Star Wars Adventure Journal 17, but was cancelled. In the story, two Human and one Zarian Rebel agents infiltrate a Jawa Sandcrawler on Tatooine to recover an important protocol droid, not knowing that an assassin droid is posing as the droid.
