Shistavanen language was the native language of the Shistavanen species from Uvena Prime. This language was mainly conformed by growls and barks.^[1]

Since the time of the Galactic Empire, most Shistavanen were fluent in both Shistavanen and Basic, although they were only literate in their own language.^[1]
