A shockstaff, sometimes known as a Shock Gun was a type of melee weapon that used electricity instead of edges. An Old Republic equivalent of the electrostaff, this weapon was made out of phrik alloy, and was able to resisnt lightsabers. Mandalorian armor could be also affected by it. Jarael was a notable user of a shockstaff.
