A shockstaff, sometimes known as a Shock Gun was a type of melee weapon that used electricity instead of edges. An Old Republic equivalent of the electrostaff, this weapon was made out of phrik alloy, and was able to be resistant to lightsabers. Mandalorian armor could also be affected by it. Jarael was a notable user of a shockstaff.
