"Short" was a Human male smuggler operating out of Tholatin. Privy to information on where the Yuuzhan Vong would attack next, he operated a scam with his partner, "Tall," where he would take paying refugees on their freighter, Trevee, from refugee settlements to worlds that would soon come under Vong attack. Then, they would swoop in, take the paying customers in again, and continue the scam.
