Shorty was a nickname given to a astromech droid on Cloud City during the height of the Galactic Civil War. He was secretly a Rebel Alliance agent. The unit helped refugees on Cloud City to reach Rebel safeworlds.

Behind the scenesEdit

Shorty was also the name given to the character Short Round in the Lucas/Spielberg film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, who was in turn named after the film's producers William Hycuk and Gloria Katz's dog Short Round.
