Shoto Eyefire was a professional Defel blastfighter and criminal with a local reputation. He had his residence in the environment near Horn Station.

Shoto Eyefire made his living by dueling against those who were foolish or brave enough to stand up and challenge him. Sometimes duelists were chosen against their will, only because they showed good shooting skills. Eyefire was known for his misconduct against other duelists, and the challenger was commonly forced to use a malfunctioning blaster. He also wore blast armor into the duel arena, just to ensure himself.
[edit] Duel with a Jedi
When an unknown Jedi was forced to make repairs on his hauler and land at Horn Station, Eyefire's luck changed. Disguised as an miner, the Jedi entered a local cantina where he was attacked by a thug of Eyefire's, named Kerlo. The miner defended himself with a Force Push. Kerlo then challenged the miner in a standoff and ended up being stunned. The miner was invited, and later forced, to meet Shoto Eyefire in a showdown in his personal arena. Eyefire was quickly badly wounded due to the Jedi's quick reflexes. His guards tried to kill the Jedi, but the Jedi, who now wielded his lightsaber, defeated the guards and destroyed Eyefire's arena.
