Shrike Leader was the callsign of the pilot who commanded Shrike Squadron in defense of Lurark. Although he tried to outsmart and out-shoot the pilots of Rogue Squadron, the elite pilots outsmarted him and overwhelmed him with fire from multiple X-wings, shooting him down.
